he Humpback Whale gets its name from the distinctive hump on its back. As a baleen whale, it feeds mainly on krill and plankton. Despite its massive size, it has a relatively small mouth where barnacles often attach, leaving behind the signature white markings seen on its head and belly.
In the depths of the ocean where sunlight rarely reaches, sight and smell are less effective. Instead, these whales rely on sound, which travels nearly five times faster underwater than through the air. They communicate through songs and navigate their surroundings by reading the patterns of reflected sound waves. From subtle whistles to songs that last for hours, the humpback’s voice is one of nature’s most sophisticated languages.

Inspired by the ocean and the earth, we have reimagined the bookmark's string as a whale’s water spout or a plant's stem. Let the cool spray from a blowhole or a fresh green stem guide your place in a book, adding a small touch of joy to the beginning and end of your reading.
Practical Features
Writeable Backside: The back of the card features a quiet horizon shimmering in the sun. It offers space to write a short message, a favorite quote, or a specific page number you wish to remember.
Functional Packaging: Instead of a standard envelope, the bookmark comes with a thick paper holder. A precision-cut slit in the middle allows you to secure the bookmark firmly.
Thoughtful Design: Slide the whale into the slit so it appears to be peeking just above the water's surface. This holder prevents the bookmark from bending or fraying and can be used as a gift wrap.
