A Cozy Christmas Collaboration Between Moonkoo and Illustrator Yoon
Some of the best Christmas moments are the smallest ones, like a kitten discovering a soft pair of mittens for the first time. Yoon captured exactly that feeling for this card, and Moonkoo was happy to bring her warm, wintery scene to paper as part of our ongoing collaboration with independent Korean designers.
Meet Yoon and Miru
Yoon draws from real life, and her cat Miru is almost always the inspiration behind her scenes. This card began as a sketch of Miru pawing curiously at a fuzzy mitten, and it grew into a full holiday illustration full of soft texture and playful energy.
Why This Scene Feels So Warm
There is something universally sweet about watching a kitten play peek a boo, tiny paws batting away at something soft and new. Yoon wanted to bottle that bright, cheerful feeling, the same feeling as fresh snow or a cozy knit sweater, and let it carry a simple holiday hello to whoever receives the card.

Moonkoo has always loved discovering Korean designers whose work deserves to travel beyond Seoul, and Yoon's playful, tender style felt like a natural fit for our holiday lineup.
